Next Ladythai peruskurssit
Ladythaissa ei järjestetä peruskursseja. Ladythaitunteihin osallistuakseen suoritetaan ensin joko kickboxing – tai thaiboxing -peruskurssi, jonka jälkeen voi osallistua ladythai -tunneille.
LADYTHAI – INTENSIVE TRAINIGN FOR LADIES
Ladythai (or Female Muay Thai) is suitable for open-minded women of all ages who are interested in working out. It is an aerobic version of Thai boxing where you can burn calories efficiently. The techniques come from Thai boxing, but the contact is maintained only with a punchbag and punch mitts.
You can burn up to 1000 kcal during a 60-minute training, which is a lot more than in more traditional forms of exercise (e.g. gym workout, swimming, running, aerobics). This is because when kicking you use big muscles of your legs.
ROOTS IN THAI BOXING
Ladythai appeared from traditional Thai boxing in the 1990s in the USA. All hard match techniques were left out while speedy workout moves and training with equipment (e.g. punchbag, punch and kick mitts, skipping rope) were added along with fast-paced music.
Hundreds of thousands of women all around the world became interested in this sport because of its effectiveness. The most devoted ones even switched successfully to Thai boxing or kickboxing to compete in real matches.

WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR?
Thai boxing is suitable for women of all ages as a combat sport and fitness training.
START LADYTHAI TRAINING
There is no basic course for this sport in our Academy. You can join our Ladythai training sessions after completing a basic course in kickboxing or Thai boxing.
Outfit for indoor training, barefoot. Please bring your own gloves and safety equipment if possible.
