START TRAINING

The best way to start is to enrol on a basic course. If the basic course is already done, you can join the training sessions on the advanced level.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Each new person enrolling on a basic course fills in a personal information form, which you can get from our office. The form must be signed and returned to the office. Individuals under 18 years old bring the form to their guardian for signature and after that return it back to the office.

BASIC COURSE

In case you start a new combat sport, you must participate in the basic course first, which lasts for about 6 weeks; training is twice per week; one training lasts for about 60-80 minutes.

You can enrol on the course by email or by visiting our office. You can get more information by phone during our working hours. It is also possible to enrol on the course during the first two weeks from the start of the course as long as there are places available.

ON THE BASIC COURSE

-we do not require great physical shape or prior experience of the combat sport of
your choice; the course is meant for beginners
– we do not require special training clothes or equipment; outfit for indoor training is
enough
– we provide training sessions specific to the combat sport of your choice under the
supervision of our instructors
– at the end of the course, there is a level/belt test depending on the type of sports;
after passing the test, you can continue training in the group of the next level

MAGNETIC CARD – 10 EUR

At the beginning of training, each individual must get an access card from our office (cash deposit of 10 EUR, the deposit will be returned to you when you finish training completely and return the card to the office). The access card gives you entry to gyms in Sörnäinen and Myyrmäki. The card has to be swiped before every training session; after swiping the card,an automatic receipt is printed out. This receipt has to be given to the instructor at the beginning of training. You cannot participate in the training without the receipt.

AFTER THE BASIC COURSE

Training in advanced courses is organised in groups of different levels under the supervision of our instructors. Monthly payment (1 month, 8 months, 14 months, 24 months) gives you the right to participate in all training of your level in both of our gyms in the types of combat sports, in which you have gone through the basic course either in our Academy or somewhere else.

TRAINING CLOTHES AND EQUIPMENT IN ADVANCED COURSES

In case you continue training with us after the basic course, we require each individual to acquire training outfit specific to the combat sport of your choice. For the training to be a pleasant experience, we also encourage you to acquire special equipment (e.g. gloves, shin guards) specific to the combat sport of your choice.
