Content of the course:
Women’s self-defence I (3h) is an open safety course for all women. The aim is for you to learn to recognize threats and violent circumstances and to avoid as well as prevent such situations. You will be taught efficient and easily adoptable self-defence techniques.
The course is especially suitable for women working in service sector, healthcare and caretaking, youth work, travelling, teaching, restaurant and security as well as women who move and travel alone.
Age limit for the course is 14 years (K-14).
Training program: Acknowledging violence and threats against women, how to avoid and prevent those situations, how to talk/give commands in threatening situations, get familiar with stress reactions, how to call for help and what to do after, distance techniques, how to break free from chokeholds and different wrestling holds, self-defence on ground, defence against punches and kicks, Criminal Law (CL 4:4 Legitimate Self Protection)
Requirements for the course: The course is suitable for women of all ages and starting points. You are not required to have a background in martial arts, sports or self-defence. The course’s age limit is 14 (K-14).
The techniques taught during the course are based on international and widely respected FEKM Krav Maga self-defence program (FEKM-RD) as well as general self-defence training methods.

Equipment for the course: outfit for your liking suitable for indoor training. Barefoot or indoor boots with soft soles. You may bring a towel and a water bottle etc., along with a notebook + a pencil/phone to take notes into
